Care Labels Guide

 
 

Care labels on clothes are put there so you know exactly how to clean your clothing. Check your labels before deciding to just wash your clothes.

  

         
Do not dry clean.  
Dry clean.
         
Dry clean in any solvent normally used in dry cleaning.  
Dry clean in perchloroethylene white spirit, or fluro-carbon.
         
Dry clean in accordance with P but with strict limitations on the amount of water and mechanical action or drying temp or both.  
Dry clean in white spirit or fluro-carbon only.
         
Dry clean in accordance with F but with strict limitations on the amount of water and mechanical action or drying temp or both.  
Machine wash in water temperature as indicated.
         
Do not wash.  
Hand wash.
         
Do not use chlorine bleach.  
Use chlorine bleach with care follow package directions.
         
Lay flat to dry.  
Drip dry may hang soaking wet.
         
Hang to dry after removing excess water.  
Tumble dry at low temperature do not over dry.
         
Tumble dry at temperature indicated.  
Do not tumble dry.
         
Do not iron .  
Cool iron.
         
Warm iron.  
Hot iron.
